Well…for lunch! I finally got up the nerve to call “Kate” – the woman who seemed (to me) to be putting the moves on me at a party my husband and I went to a few weeks ago. She gave me their phone number after only having just met me — and that is just not done in Seattle — maybe she’s from back East or something — but that is sooooo social!
Anyway, I realized that there were two reasons why I had put off calling her:
1. Afraid that I had miss-read her and she really doesn’t want to get all freaky-deaky with me, and
2. Afraid that I did NOT miss-read her and she DOES want to get all freaky-deaky with me!
If she does, it will be my first time, so that’s exciting and scary. I hope to be able to get a better read when I meet her for lunch on Tuesday – the one caveat being that she feels she coming down with the flu so we might have to postpone. Of course, I’ll keep you posted!
